Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2021

Scale 2 £17,999- £18,531

Monday- Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30- 4.30pm 1 hour for lunch


North Yorkshire Police are recruiting for a fixed term contract until December 2021 for a skilled Firearms Admin Clerk to work as part of a team providing the full range of clerical/administrative support to Headquarters Firearms Licensing Department based in Northallerton.

 

  • Responsible for opening of all incoming mail and dissemination

  • To receipt and process all payments received into the department

  • To collate and provide weekly management information as required

  • Use of Departmental Computer Systems to record all incoming work

  • Use of Force Computer Systems as appropriate

  • To scan all photographs

 

This role requires you to be highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload. You will have the ability to work flexibly and confidently using your own initiative and with the rest of your team in order to meet deadlines. Excellent customer service is pivotal to this role as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
