Senior Support Officer (Estates, Transport and Logistics)
Post Title: Senior Support Officer Permenant, Full time (37 hours per week)
Grade: Scale 5 - 6
North Yorkshire Police require a Senior Support Officer to provide effective customer and Programme Team support as a member of the Estates team.
You will proactively manage administrative and financial processes within the Capital Project Programme to maximise efficiency and improve the performance of the department. You will have excellent communication skills, good administrative and organisational skills, and a flexible team based approach to your work. You will ideally have experience in information research, report writing, strategy implementation, and delivery of presentations.
You will be able to demonstrate the communication requirements associated with the delivery of a change management programme within a large organisation, and the logistics associated with the implementation of a change strategy. Previous experience of working within the building industry is desirable.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Estates Manager in the implementation and delivery of the Estates Capital Programme and Strategy, along with undertaking individual pieces of work to support delivery of Estates BaU activity.
You will also provide a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries from clients, stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and other North Yorkshire police service units, and provide an efficient and effective response.
You will also review on a continual basis the Estates Capital Programme and Strategy, its associated timescales, milestones, and budgets.
You will also provide general financial and administrative support to colleagues within the Estates team. You will possess good office skills, knowledge of common computer software packages, have a flexible team based approach to your work, and have a positive approach to learning and development.
